Sawyer and Dad!

Sawyer is turning into a real ham.  Now he sucks his bottom lip all the time making a humming noise and he gets louder and louder!  He's also really trying to hold himself up and will even raise his head off your chest if you are holding him at a backward incline.  He's getting very strong and I think he'll be holding himself up while sitting very soon!

Cloth Diapers!!

So we've made the change to cloth diapers.  I only have a few right now but I ordered some online and hopefully this Postal strike is over soon because I can't wait to use them all the time!  We might still use a disposable at night since I enjoy my sleep but during the day he'll be in cloth.  The diapers are soo cute these days and VERY easy to use and once you get in the habit I don't think the adjustment is very hard. We are just trying to reduce our footprint and Sawyers!

New Hat!

I've become quite the knitter.  Well, OK...that's a lie.  I've been knitting.  We have tons of Nana cloths now but I decided I wanted to try something a little more substantial.  So I tried knitting a new hat for Sawyer.  It's a little too small for his enormous head so I'm mailing it off to our friends Eric and Angela for little baby Berkley who should be making her appearance soon.

Megan and Philip Visit!

My very good friend Megan's boyfriend Philip has just come over the pond from Germany to live with her in Canada so I had them over yesterday.  They also celebrated their one year anniversary and there's nothing more romantic then a little screaming baby!!  I'm so happy for Megan, she's been waiting for Phil for months and now he's here and they can continue their lives together.  Long distance blows!

Visit at Mamie's!

Standing Man!!

So apparently babies aren't supposed to bear weight like this until the sixth month...  Sawyer beats the odds.

Grabby Hands!

Sawyer loves grabbing big handfuls of my hair these days.  Anything and everything goes in his little mouth!
