Stosh always jokes that Sawyer doesn't like him because he doesn't have the "required hardware" but these photos prove otherwise!  I think Stosh is just trying to get out of diaper duty...

Sawing Logs

So it's not the most flattering photo of me but how cute is this?!  We are both sawing logs and catching flies!

Weigh In

So only a week after our last weigh-in, Sawyer is now 11lbs. 6oz!!

A pound a week is what he's averaging these days...I can't believe it!

ZONKED after a walk!

I have a Baby K'Tann Sling that my mom got for me but Sawyer can't hold his head up so we broke down and bought a Snugli.  I don't know why I was so against getting one from the get-go...they are AMAZING!  Sawyer's been fussy for the last few nights so mornings have been tough too, but today I popped him in the Snugli and he passed out and I was able to get a load of stuff done around the house!

Then this afternoon it's was 5 degrees so we took the boys for a walk and bundled Sawyer up in the Snugli too.  I'm going to lose all this baby weight quick because I found it difficult to walk with an 11lb. baby attached to your front!  And he's only going to get heavier...

Sawyer and Nat!

We had a mommy and son photo shoot the other night since I've realized there aren't many photos of me and the little guy since I'm usually the one taking the pictures...  I thought these turned out well, even though I have a cow-lick from not showering.

I never thought I'd be cool with not showering every day, but now, sometimes, I go a few days.  It's so funny because people without kids look at you funny...but somedays I just don't have time.

I've been saying that I love everything about Sawyer equally but I'm slowly figuring out that I'm obessesed with his little feet and toes!!  Everyone gushes over their smell, their little noses but I can't get over kissing and cuddling his little toes.  He was passed out on his belly and his feet were so cute, I couldn't resist taking about 100 pictures...Here's the best of the best!

A Raisin in the Sun!

The sun was shining into our little fireplace nook this morning and Sawyer was just loving it.  Stosh and I were joking that he's learnt laying in the sun from his "bro-dogs" who spend hours in rays of sunshine.

I let him sleep for almost two hours and by the photos you can tell he was really enjoying it.  Since we're breastfeeding, Vitamin D is an issue but I think he soaked up so much this morning we'll skip his supplement for a few days!!  (JK!)

Mamie's Back!!

Sawyer was so excited to see his Mamie after her week long vacation.  I've learnt so much just from watching my mom interact with the little bean!  When daddy's not home, we speak french all day!

I can't freaking believe it!  My doc says I have good boobies!  He's doing very well and gaining tons of weight!

We were never worried about Stevezie not liking the baby but Cooper was another story!  Thank effing god that he loves Sawyer like he's part of the pack.

Belly Love!

About a week before Sawyer was born we had a prenatal photo shoot with a fantastic photographer Jenn Barton.  She did the photography for our wedding and we knew as soon as we found out we were expecting we wanted her to do some photos for us.

It's so hard to believe that he was inside me just over a month ago and my belly was THAT big!!

She gave us so many to choose from so here's just a few!

Sawyer's Observer Debut!

Sawyer's in the Dryden Observer this week!!  The lady I had to contact to get the ad in said that the photo was maybe not the best choice.  I thought it was perfect...

Tubby Time

We've had a break through with Tubby Time!  Sawyer was in there for at least 25 minutes tonight, just looking around and cooing.  It used to be a nightmare because he would just cry and scream but now, he's starting to see it can be relaxing.

I'm so happy because I can't wait to bring him to the pool for some swimming but they say that if he's not comfortable in the tub don't bother. 

I've been bathing him with oatmeal to soothe his sensitive bum and to get some natural oils into his skin.  As he's splashing around I tell him we are going to make porridge out of him!!

More Cuteness!

I can't get enough of this!  Contrary to popular belief they don't just sleep all day!  This is where Sawyer goes when Mommy needs to shower early in the morning...

One Month Today!

I can't believe Sawyerbean is 1 month old today!  C'est Incroyable!  I think we've seen some smiles to celebrate how old he's getting.  (HA!)

Had a postpartum class today as a follow up to our prenatal classes and I was surprised to say the least.  I'm the only mom breastfeeding!!  I thought will all the information we were given that at least half of the ladies would have stuck with it.  Oh well.

Our class was at the Toy Library which I haven't been too since my bro and sis were little.  We rented a little surfboard type toy for "Tummy Time" which will help Sawyer not get so frustrated when we put him on his stomach.  It's a little pillow that will hold a bit of his torso up when he's on his belly.  I'll try to get some photos soon.  It's just so great that we can rent toys and not buy them, or try them out before we do buy them.

I also weighed the little guy and he's a whopping 9 pounds and 10.5 ounces!!  He's been continuous gaining a half pound a week which is great and perfect for a "thriving" babe.  Yeahh booby milk!

Friends...Finally!!

So, long story short...My mom's dog Chico and Sawyer didn't get along that well at first.  He's staying with us while the parentals are vacationing in Mexico and we finally have had a bonding experience!

A Bad Case of Baby Acne...

Poor Sawyer has a bad case of baby acne!  Baby acne and diaper rash...Life's rough!

Look at my men!  I didn't know I could love Stosh anymore, but when he's cooing and cuddling our son, I know I do.

Penaten Face!

So I think as every new parent does, Stosh and I have given Sawyer a bad case of diaper rash.  Well, it's not that bad, but still...enough to make you feel a little inadaquate as a parent.  So, I've turned to my friends for all their advice and we've tried all sorts of things.  I've really liked Penaten cream since it's hard to wipe off, which means it's doing it's job staying on his little bum. 

While I was changing his yesterday afternoon, I didn't notice he got some cream on his foot and then while crying was kicking his legs up by his head.  After a few attempts to change him (he usually pees on me at least twice) I looked up and realized he had rubbed the cream all over his face with his foot!  I had to take a photo!
